If your medication is an injectable
If your medication requires refrigeration, please take this into consideration when planning your travel. You may like to carry your medication in a cooler pack & place in a fridge on the plane while flying.
Refrigerated medication should be stored between 2°C to 8°C. After the first use, the medication can be stored in a refrigerator or at room temperature between 15°C to 30°C.
Pens that have been stored at room temperature or opened should be thrown away after 30 days, even if they still have medication still left in them.
Don’t freeze your medication. Medication that has been frozen must not be used.
Store the pen without a needle attached.
