Over the first 3-6 months of treatment, you may experience "shedding". This is very common on any hair treatment plan. Although it can be daunting, it is a sign that your treatment is working.
It’s also important to know that males typically lose 50-100 hairs a day, so what you see may be normal and not necessarily shedding.
💇🏻♂️ Why does shedding happen?
The medication works by pushing the weaker and thinner hairs out, to make way for the thicker, fuller and newer hairs.
❓When will shedding occur?
Shedding can occur in the first few months after starting treatment and the extent can vary from person to person. If you change your medication or dosage, you may experience further shedding. Don’t worry, this is only temporary and should subside over time.
