Storing your treatment while travelling
If your treatment is an injectable that needs refrigeration, plan ahead. You might carry it in a cooler pack, and place it in a fridge on the plane while flying.
Refrigerated treatment should be stored between 2°C and 8°C. After first use, you can store it in a refrigerator or at room temperature between 15°C and 30°C. Pens stored at room temperature, or that have been opened, should be thrown away after 30 days, even if there's treatment left in them. Don't freeze your treatment, and store the pen without a needle attached.
For other treatment types, there are no specific storage instructions while travelling. We recommend checking with your airline to see if you need any specific documents.
