Pharmacy dispatch time - compounded vs. pre-packaged
There are two different types of medications that can be prescribed through Pilot; pre-packaged medication, or a compounded medication.
A compounded medication is one that is made specifically for you by the pharmacy. These medications take longer to prepare so it can sometimes take around 3-4 business days after placing your order for your medication to be dispatched.
Packaged treatments, however, are usually dispatched within 1-2 business days from the time that your order is placed.
Pilot treatments that are compounded include most hair treatments, as well as all sleep and skin medications. Pre-packaged treatments are used for all remaining conditions including erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation and herpes (cold sores).
